           Saturday May 8th 2010 from 2-5 pm

Local Pizzerias competed for Best Overall Pizza, Best Pizza Girl/Guy, Best Traditional Pizza, Best White Pizza and Best Specialty Pizza. Over 500 Pizzas were served to the people. Traffic was backed-up on Bee Ridge Rd from people trying to get in to the event. Nearly 1,000 people were at Evie's Golf Center for Pizza Wars II.

Event benefits the Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
-Local firefighters will be served Bud Light, Hook and Ladder beer courtesy of Gold Coast Eagle Distributing.

Rob Satori Entertainer, sang his Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the rest of the classic Italian music classics.

WWSB ABC 7 our TV Sponsor ran our PSA/Commercial and Promo with Suncoast Scene. A big thanks to the staff of Channel 7. Judi Gallagher,Linda Carson, Bob Harrigan, Amy Tuten and Karen Cadou.

The Suncoast Communities Bloodbank  Bloodmobile was on site from 1-4 pm as we  promoted "Blood for Sauce". Give a unit of blood and get a jar of sauce from Piccolo Italian Market/Deli plus free admission to Pizza Wars II. They collected 14 units of blood.

Live Pizza making demonstrations by Primo! Ristorante with his huge Brick Oven, gave people a chance to see a great exhibit.

Admission is $5 for adults and children under 10 are free.
